The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took me by the shoulder and said, âBe in this world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer.â And Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say, âIn the evening do not expect [to live until] the morning, and in the morning do not expect [to live until] the evening.
This is by the grace of Allah and His abundant mercy to His slaves. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Abuâl-âAaliyah said: I asked the companions of Muhammad about this verse and they said to me: Everyone who disobeys Allah is ignorant, and everyone who repents before death has repented âsoon afterwardsâ.

May Allah help us all brothers and sisters, we all have the same nafs/desires when it comes to the opposite sex, it is incredibly easy to fall into the clutches of the shaytaan, who beautifies the haraam for us, the love which follows after a marriage will be much sweeter for us and donât our spouses deserve from us to have unloved hearts, by
Allah says: âExcept for fasting, which is for Me and I shall reward for it. He gives up his desire and his food for My sake.â The fasting person has two joys, one when he breaks his fast and another when he meets his Lord. The smell that comes from the mouth of a fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk.â
The words of âAaâishah (may Allah be pleased with her), âhe gave me a painful shove in the chestâ indicate that what the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did was merely a shove, i.e., he pushed her or poked her in the chest; this does not reach the level of real hitting that is intended to cause pain and to humiliate.
